Hundreds of artists from around the country sent in submissions for American Artist’s 2008 Cover Competition, and the editors narrowed the selection down to the 10 they thought best captured the skill level and style of our publication. When those paintings were then considered for their strength as cover images, California artist Adrian Gottlieb’s The Auditor was chosen as the winning work.

SHOW YOUR ARTWORK TO THE WORLD in this contest sponsored by Jerry's Artarama. Here's your chance to share your
drawings, paintings, prints, and sculpture with the thousands of people
visit this website every month. Just fill out the competition entry
form and e-mail a digital image of your artwork. One entry qualifies
you to be considered over a six-month period. The judges will select
one artist every month to be featured on this page.
Each winner will receive a prize from Jerry's Artarama.
