i'm really impressed and inspired by stephen's work, i'm currently ending a foundation in fine art in UK and stumbled across these works, i'm going to include Stephen in my sketch book as an example of how portraiture can be more fun that what the old masters did, great expressions and charactor, these paintings are amongst some of my favorite from a contempory artist.

Your paintings are fantastic! I have been painting copies to learn just how you pick colors. I take the painting into a semi-dark room and it looks very different, the colors show the shadows and not the colors. It is so fun to and you are truly an inspiration.
