Thank you, Steve, for your video. The painting on clayboard is beautiful! Just a question for you. What type of varnish do you use and how do you apply it? Does it cause the edges to become softer, like going over a piece with a wet brush? Is one able to go back into the piece after it is varnished? Never used varnish before.
Thank you!
Mary
Steve, I have been using claybord for a few years and still LOVE it. No one who views my work thinks that it is watercolor. I have to practically demo it in person to get them to believe me!
I was greatly moved by the recent spread in Watercolor. Your work is beautiful and precious to behold. Do you have a book or tape that you've done that has technic and helpful information about mixing colors, surfaces, a how too, etc.
