California College of the Arts (CCA) continues its centennial celebration with this exhibition of work by 100 faculty and alumni, many of whom are among California’s most influential artists. The show features more than 120 works, including paintings, sculptures, works on paper, ceramics, photography, and mixed media, and features pieces from such artists as Robert Bechtle, Richard Diebenkorn, and Xavier Tizoc Martinez. The CCA was founded in 1907 by Frederick Meyer, a German cabinetmaker, as the School of the California Guild of Arts and Crafts and was renamed California College of the Arts in 2003, in recognition of the breadth of its curriculum.
