Brought to Light: The Art of Egbert Cadmus
Through October 20
The Cooley Gallery
Old Lyme, Connecticut
(860) 434-8807

The Cooley Gallery, in Old Lyme, Connecticut, presents this exhibition and sale of newly discovered work by Egbert Cadmus, father of the 20th-century visual satirist Paul Cadmus. In 1931 Egbert Cadmus moved to Old Lyme, where he became an influential member of the Lyme Art Colony, a group of Impressionist-oriented painters that resided in the quiet town. This exhibition features many of Cadmus’ watercolor landscapes as well as the artist’s sketches.
